You know those people you admire? Those people that come into your life and have some sort of impact on you? Well, for me one those people happens to be Mrs. Anna E. Chatelain of the blog Tulip Louise and the website, StyleBy.Me. Anna has always had a wonderful way of putting things together. Her style is fun and classic mixed in with a little touch of trendy. Anna and I both grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas and she is now taking the style of Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley to a new level. Through the website StyleBy.Me she has encouraged people to share their own current style with the rest of the world. Anna and her team have literally brought on a "local look book," that allows real people within the community to share who they are through their own style.

Anna has a great team behind her and StyleBy.Me has recently expanded to Nashville. Pretty cool. This innovative look book is a great way to share your fashion.

Chicken Barley Soup

It is cold here in Houston and all I want for dinner is some soup! Last week, I made my dad vegetable soup with barley. This Chicken Barley Soup with Walnut Pesto recipe from Cooking Light makes the perfect alternative from my vegetarian option last week.

Welcome to February! I can't believe it's already here. During this time of year, I always start craving warmer weather. Right now, the beach, crab legs dipped in butter and the sun all sound pretty good!
