Favorite (New) Lotion...
Aveeno's new line of nourishing body moisturizers are by far my new favorite lotions. The scents are uplifting and the formula leaves long-lasting results. This line also offers body washes, which are next up on the list to try!

{Cute Little Picnic Ideas}
Images and Recipes via Country Living
One of my favorite things about warm weather is being able to have picnics.
I love the idea of mini BLT sandwiches, little individual lunches, and mini cherry pies!

Happy Earth Day!
Lately I have been obsessed with my FEED Bag. Designed by Lauren Bush, FEED Bags are made with 100% organic cotton and sustainable burlap and zips into a small pouch, which can then be stored and used as a grocery bag. I have come to use mine as both a purse and a grocery bag. The FEED Projects goal is to fight hunger around the world. For more information, click HERE.

Tiny Boxwood's
Since I am a newcomer to Houston it makes my day when I am introduced to a great restaurant.
Last week, I was taken by my neighbor to Tiny Boxwoods, a nursery/retail shop turned restaurant.
It was wonderful! Not only was the food great, but the setting was relaxing.
Everything from the wine to the pizza was delightful, and by delightful I mean... even if I've had the most stressful day, I know I will be able go to Tiny Boxwoods order something wonderful and forget about everything else...
If you live in Houston or just visiting it's a great place to know.

40 Carrots
Every spring, it never fails that I start craving yogurt and not just any yogurt it's, always "bloomies" yogurt. Located in Bloomingdale's on Third Avenue and 59th street, 40 Carrots is without a doubt the best yogurt I have ever had in my life. The plain is sweet, tart and creamy- It's the perfect plain! Topped off with strawberries, blueberries and melba sauce... there is honestly nothing better than a spring afternoon spent at bloomies!

Barry Thomas
image via the Wiford Gallery
Yesterday, my mom and I had the pleasure of spending the entire day with artist, Barry Thomas. Upon meeting him I immediately was taken back. As a former Arkansas Razorback football player, he wasn't exactly what I was expecting. Tall and fit, Barry had an "energy" about him that was so good, I felt happy just being in his presence. My mom, who is also a wonderfully, talented painter took a workshop with Barry a few weeks ago, when she came home she felt like she could paint anything. That is the gift of Barry Thomas. His paintings bring everything to light. It isn't just about the subject of the painting, it is the emotion that is evoked when looking at them. His work is all over the United States.
If you find yourself in Santa Fe, New Mexico I would definitely make a stop by Wiford Gallery, located on Canyon Road.
