Hector and the Search for Happiness
I started reading Hector and the Search for Happiness in the book store the other day and before I knew it, I had read through three chapters. The writing is simplistic, which lends itself a certain charm.
The main character, Hector, who is a psychiatrist sets out in the search for the meaning of happiness. Why are some people happy and others aren't?
The fairy-tale like book is told through Hector's journey to three different countries. Hector narrates his travels with wit, dry humor and some wisdom along the way...
It's a quick read, that I enjoy! Looking for a little pick-me-up and a cute, quick read? Hector and the Search for Happiness might be just what the doctor ordered.
P.S. Vote!
